FAXP
Roadmap
Phase-based roadmap for interoperable freight booking between AI Freight Agents and freight software platforms.
FAXP is intentionally phase-based and outcome-driven, without fixed public deadlines.
v1: Booking-Plane Core
- Stable envelope contract for freight booking messaging.
- Validation, replay/TTL controls, and signing expectations.
- Optional verifier evidence transport and trust-policy artifacts.
- Broker, carrier, truck-capacity, and minimal shipper booking flows.
- Core conformance, governance, and release-readiness checks.
v2: Commercial Model and Interop Expansion
- Broader booking scenario coverage and edge-case guidance.
- Expanded commercial terms profiles for equipment, detention, accessorials, scheduling, and special instructions.
- Stronger implementation playbooks for builder-hosted integrations.
- Deeper A2A and MCP compatibility guidance where it directly supports booking interoperability.
v3: Ecosystem Hardening
- Multi-implementation interoperability depth.
- Certification and governance maturity.
- Stronger public contributor workflows and implementation review process.
- Broader ecosystem adoption posture.
Working Principle
Scope stays tight unless changes directly improve interoperable booking execution.
FAXP will not expand into dispatch execution, live tracking, document custody, or settlement rails unless the project’s scope is explicitly redefined.
