About FAXP
Freight Agent eXchange Protocol is an open, vendor-neutral standard for AI Freight Agents and modern freight interoperability.
FAXP started from a simple observation: freight execution still depends on fragmented interfaces and custom vendor glue, while AI agents need reliable, neutral contracts to coordinate work.
Inspired by protocol-first ecosystems such as FIX, FAXP focuses on a practical freight path first: discover, bid, verify, confirm.
Founder
FAXP is led by Zach Womack with an open, implementation-driven approach.
Project Model
- Open protocol project first.
- Neutral governance and interoperability over vendor lock-in.
- Real-world freight pains prioritized over speculative features.
Sponsorship
FAXP welcomes aligned sponsors who want to accelerate open freight standards through tooling, events, and ecosystem support.
